Wallington Hose Co. #3 will be having a wetdown for it’s 2011 Pierce Arrow XT pumper on June 9, 2012 from 4-9pm at the VFW Picnic Grounds located at Main Avenue and Hathaway Street in Wallington. There are memorial T-shirts being sold that benefit the NJ Fireman Home and the Wounded Warrior Project. The T-shirts are in memory of Lance Corporal Michael Schwarz who was killed in action in Al Anbar, Iraq. Michael Schwarz is the son of long time Carlstadt firefighter Ken Schwarz. See the flier for contact information. On Sunday, May 6, 2012 there will be a classic car & motorcycle show honoring First Responders. Event is hosted by the Nam Knights of America and will be held at 197 Washington Avenue, Carlstadt, NJ. The gates open at 11am. The rain date is Sunday May 20. |
